ABOUT BOB ROSE

Bob Rose is a jazz pianist, keyboardist, composer, and arranger.  “He plays with passion and joy, influenced by international styles, jazz, blues, classical, and experimental.  He improvises, harmonizes, and mesmerizes….”.  Bob is a Juilliard graduate, and has studied with world famous musicians Mitchell Andrew, Jimmy Amadie, Pat Martino, and George Crumb.  He also has performed with jazz greats Alex Acuna, Ben Riley, Bernard Purdie, Panama Francis, Danny Gottlieb, Dave Liebman, Doug Mathews, Leroy Cooper, Nathan Page, Little Milton, Bernie Lee, Bill White, and Jacqueline Jones, among others.  He has played in New York, Philadelphia, and the Orlando music scenes.  He formed the bands Solar Wind, Tapestry, and The Bob Rose Trio.  His credits as a producer, composer, and engineer include Hallmark, Honda, Kodak, NBC, and National Geographic, to mention a few.  Bob also teaches and conducts workshops.
